These are made in the USA out of a solid piece "Aircraft Aluminum". It is a very strong Aluminum Alloy.
They are Anodized or Powder Coated Black or can be upgraded to Chrome Plated by checking the "Chrome" box when ordering.
This kit swings the bottom of the Rear shocks backward, lowering the bike at the seat by 1.75".
Get that lower look, and your feet flat on the ground.
Fitment Notes: To avoid clearance related issues-
- Can be used on "R" model Sportsters for weights up to 225#'s with maximum shock spring settings.
- Can be used on Customs and Lows for weights up to 150 #'s with maximum shock spring settings.
- Not for use on the Nightster. It's too low. You can use the 1" lowering blocks on the Nightster.

Great product, works well 1 people found this helpfulI bought the 1.75” lowering blocks for my Iron 883. They dropped the ride height of the standard 13.5” rear shocks perfectly. Previously I had 11 inch slammer shocks but the ride was way too firm. Now I have the same low stance I wanted but with a compliant ride that does not jar or throw me up out of the seat. The lowering blocks are very good quality, with a quality black finish and perfect fit to the rear swing arm. Could not be happier and should have fitted these years ago!

Not a perfect fit! 1 people found this helpful2018 Iron 1200. Wasn’t as straight forward as I thought. Will not fit the right side as it does not clear the belt guard. I had to grind down the back of the belt guard after which it worked perfectly. For this I have it 4 stars.
